Perfume Who: A Journey Through Our Pop-Ups
From the very beginning, Perfume Who has been about more than just fragrance. Our scents are vessels of stories, emotions, and encounters, and through our pop-ups, we’ve had the chance to bring those stories into the world, creating spaces to connect, share, and collaborate.
We are so grateful that this journey has taken us across New York and beyond, where each stop became a moment of exchange: between artists, dreamers, and those curious enough to step into our world. We cannot thank our collobrators enough for trusting us and believeing us. Here are some of the highlights so far:
March 1 – April 30 We began with a two-month residency at @waitasecondnyc (627 E 6th St, New York), our first physical location. Over this time, we collaborated with ceramicists, musicians, and other artists.
April 11 We launched the Temple in Desert Eau de parfum in collboration with KOZABURO and were honored to join the House of Kozaburo pop-up at Komune. Did you guys saw the shack they built?
April 18–19 on earth day @bondhardware in Brooklyn, we hosted a two-night gathering with a fashion designer, leather maker, tattoo artist, and piercing artist.
May 23 We joined @re.la.tive at Yume Brooklyn, an experimental space where design and fragrance came together. The evening unfolded through poems, art, and music.
June 20 On the Summer Solstice, we gathered at Telo Haus, collaborating with food artists Lingsha Li to create small bites inspired by our perfumes:
At Land: savory, umami, marine — sea salt, seaweed
Meshes of the Afternoon: light, sweet, fruity — fig, honey
Silex: white floral — Hedione, soy
The night also included an ikebana installation by co-founder Vivi Lu an arrangement of stillness and form alongside with the screening of Maya Deren’s film.
July 4–6Most recently, we traveled to Paris for CONNECTING • CURATED WORLDS 04 at @balconyparis, where we shared our work alongside visionary designers and artists from Taiwan and around the world.
Each of these moments has been a reminder of why we do what we do: to create perfumes that carry meaning and to build bridges between people, places, and ideas.
